Fabrizio Bibi Pinna and Alessandra Cossu

Fabrizio Pinna was born in Cagliari in 1983 and grow up in Serramanna. Alessandra Cossu was born in Cagliari in 1989 and lives in Elmas. Having met six years ago thanks to their shared passions (speleology and photography), they decided to tell together through social media the lesser-known wonders of Sardinia, dedicating all their resources to photographic documentation and to the enhancement of the huge sardinian heritage. The outcome of their posts, with millions of monthly views, has led to several international collaborations for both of them. At a national and regional level, collaboration was born with some TV programs, news programs, radio networkings, newspapers and magazines and organizations dealing with Sardinian archaeological heritage, such as Nurnet and “Sardinia towards UNESCO”. The goal of their project is a program called “Sardinia beyond the sea”, strongly desired to stimulate as much people as they can, to get to know the most hidden and most genuine Sardinia. Essential member of the team is Farah, an 8-year-old Labrador, following their steps all over the excursions and photographic adventures of Alessandra and Fabrizio.

SARDINIA BEYOND THE SEA – THE TALE OF AN ADVENTURE ON A BELOVED ISLAND (Imago Multimedia, 2023) – A journey, in search of the hidden places of the wildest, archaeological and historical heritage of Sardinia. A photo-book but also a long terme research that the authors have been passionately managed all along the years, promoting their achievements on social media. Archaeological, naturalistic beauties, lesser-known mining sites, often overshadowed by the predominance of Sardinian sea for a “different” fruition of our treasures.
