A Canadian girl, two worldviews embodied by her parents: that of her father, playful and slightly dishonest, dominated by an instinctive sensitivity, and that of her mother, made up of moralism and a stubborn fight for good, which ultimately becomes tender in its naivety. Set in Toronto, with a narrative that also highlights the contrasts between different cultures, it is the story of the spiritual education of a sick teenager who, in the short life that is granted to her, will experience friendship, love, and become aware of her identity as a woman and a feminist.
