Riccardo Frau, lawyer and bank manager, is the author of dozens of legal essays in the field of civil, banking and insurance law, most of which have been published in the legal journal of Bocconi University.
A former scholarship holder of the National Research Council and contract professor of Private Law Institutions at the University of Sassari, he has collaborated, with publications and conferences, with the Universities of Bilbao and Barcelona and, at the latter, he participated in the work of the ministerial pool Grupo de Recerca en Dret Privat, Consum i Noves Tecnologies, in the early 2000s. In the same period, he was a member of the Joint Commission State-Region Sardinia, where he carried out regulatory activities at the Ministry of Regional Affairs.
In the musical field, during his university studies he was part of one of the most active rock bands in Sardinia in the 80s, recording his first album in 1983 and participating in some of the main rock events on the island of that period, such as Musica Musica, Rokkarea and Rockhaus. In 1984 he hosted a rock program for one of the local free radio stations.
Founder in 1988 of the first blues group in Sassari, with his most recent bands he played both at the Ichnos event, for the return of the Brigata Sassari from Nassirya, and at the XXIV edition of the Narcao Blues Festival, as well as events in Milan, Bari and Lucca. With his bands he has held concerts in some of the main theaters on the island. In 2014 he produced the album <>, exhibited at the Rolling Stones Museum in Slovenia. In 2016 and 2019 he organized and participated in two concerts in the maximum security prison of Sassari-Bancali.
