Antonella Gregorio presents “The Fate of Love” (Le Lune, 2020)
Antonella is a young Sardinian manager working in Milan in the sales department of a multinational company. One evening, on the occasion of her birthday, she goes out to celebrate and wakes up in the hospital after forty-five days. Antonella, like every unaware person, is chasing a destiny that doesn’t belong to her. Her life, seemingly so rewarding, seems to have given her everything she could wish for. But this life is not her true destiny, and still unaware, she perseveres due to her sheer willpower. Only the sudden onset of a coma stops her.
When she wakes up, she no longer has any memories. The recovery is difficult; she doesn’t recognize her friends and colleagues, and no longer feels emotions. What initially seems like yet another defeat turns into positive energy, making her fully master of her life and helping her understand the true path of her destiny.
