Degree in Literature with a thesis in Contemporary History at the University of Cagliari with Prof. Luciano Marrocu, one year of study at the Universitat de Barcelona, he began his working career in 2005 at the Communication & Image office of Saras s.p.a. In 2006 his experience in the publishing world began for the E Polis newspapers as a direct collaborator of the publisher Nicola Grauso and for the free & pay, distributed in 18 Italian cities, he deals with marketing and distribution. In 2012 he participated in the launch of the online newspaper SardiniaPost.it and in 2013 he became CEO of the publishing company that belongs to the Onorato Armatori Group. In 2016 the publishing company also published the bimonthly paper SardiniaPost Magazine and in 2021 with the change of ownership of the publishing company that passed to a new corporate group of entrepreneurs active in Sardinia, Piedmont and Lombardy, he was appointed CEO.
At the Neanche Gli Dei festival, Walter Sorrentino participates as a speaker in the meeting with Gianluca Dettori, author of the essay “L’Italia nella Rete. Ascesa, caduta e resurrezione della Net Economy”: the origin and identity of the new digital frontiers will be discussed.
