Patrizia Viglino, director, actress and playwright, received her artistic training in Milan where she studied theatre and cinema acting, diction, dance theatre, dramaturgy, theatre direction and “Art and Therapy”. She subsequently specialized at the Accademia Teatrale Amiata in Arcidosso (Grosseto) and the Scuola Superiore perattore E.R.T. – Emilia Romagna Teatro (Reggio Emilia).
Since the end of the 1980s she has acted in numerous theatre shows and performances in contact with masters and companies on the international scene.
In 2013 she founded and directs the Compagnia Teatrale García Lorca di Nuoro in the name of cultural contamination and multimedia communication, signing the theatre directions and productions inspired by classical and modern authors or written specifically including: “Il Massacro”, a theatrical chronicle of the Circeo massacre; “Noi, c’eravamo. Le donne nella Grande Guerra”; “Blast – Solitudini e Migrazioni” and “Resilienza – SAFE”, on the theme of migrants and integration and the story “Memorie di Vento”, published by Mousiké in 2021 and inspired by “La Madre” by Grazia Deledda.
As an art director, she has conceived and organized theater festivals and cultural events including the Conferences dedicated to Federico García Lorca, Gabriel García Marquez, Tahar Ben Jelloun; the Theater and Culture Festival “Terreni d’incontro” in Oliena and two projects dedicated to the figure of Grazia Deledda, the first, “Celebration of Historical Figures of Sardinia”, with the contribution of the R.A.S and the second, still ongoing, “Deledda in cammino” 2021, co-financed by the Fondazione di Sardegna.
She currently teaches acting, stage behavior, creative writing, leading theater courses and workshops and is on stage with the theater show: “La via del male” and with the Reading “Memorie di Vento”.
