Organized by Vox Day, in collaboration with institutional partners and private organizations, the festival is now in its fifth edition. This year, it presents itself with a deeply evocative title that strikes straight to the heart: “Elsewhere, Inside”, a journey through knowledge, experiences, history, traditions, and social and cultural innovations that intertwine spirituality, art, politics, and science. In perfect balance between contemporary reality and future possibilities, the festival, thanks to the valuable contribution of internationally renowned authors, reaffirms itself as a dynamic and necessary cultural event aimed at promoting critical thinking and personal growth, embracing diverse disciplines in an atmosphere of shared respect, constructive debate, and active participation. The main focus of the festival has always been to stimulate debate between differing worldviews, in order to support a truly inclusive culture that embraces core values, first and foremost tolerance.

A unique event, a true cultural stronghold, where every meeting invites a deep dive into the development of consciousness. For four days, the festival opens a window to horizons and scenarios animated by many voices of free thought, aiming to shape new perspectives on our humanity, both Inside and in connection with the Whole that surrounds us.

The festival will open on Thursday, July 24th at 7:30 PM with Riccardo Camarda, a young author, trainer, speaker, and researcher in the fields of behavioral economics, neuroscience, and personal development. He will present his book “Always Remember Your Worth“ (Il Punto d’Incontro, 2025). This work, written with passion and a generous spirit, aims to make people truly aware of their potential. A motivational text that touches on the core pillars of human life such as relationships, love, and spirituality, serving as starting points for action, growth, and individual evolution.

At 8:30 PM, the journey continues into the human sphere, the most intimate and vulnerable but also extraordinarily powerful, with sociologist, trainer, and Rogerian counselor Francesca Di Gangi, creator of “Writing for Healing®,” a highly effective therapeutic writing method that supports self-care, self-awareness, personal fulfillment, and life improvement. She will meet the audience to present her latest book “Rewrite Your Life” (Il Punto d’Incontro, 2024), an exciting journey of rediscovering life in its most energetic and transformative sense. Through a narrative structure that follows the patterns of the “hero’s journey,” Francesca Di Gangi offers a guide to optimizing every new awareness, from past and present, in the service of revolutionary personal renewal and healing.

The interaction between the physical and spiritual worlds in the pursuit of a new collective vision is the fascinating theme to be addressed at 9:30 PM by Noah Tuffanelli, author of “Mediumship: A Spiritual Journey” (Consapevole Edizioni, 2024). A work that, through personal stories and deep reflections, opens a doorway to the universe of dimensions adjacent to the “visible” reality, aiming for harmony between soul and matter. Noah Tuffanelli currently conducts mediumship meetings and courses in various Italian cities.

The first evening of the Festival will close at 10:30 PM with an in-depth exploration of the cultures and religious traditions of the Mediterranean region, in the company of historian, writer, publisher, and university lecturer in the History of International Relations and Contemporary History, Nicola Bizzi. At the heart of the meeting will be his book “One Unique Primal Tradition?” (Aurora Boreale Edizioni, 2022), a valuable research essay on the various schools of esoteric and initiatic thought that, from East to West, support the thesis of a Single Primal Tradition and a hypothetical transcendent unity of all religions. This dogmatic and axiomatic theory is in stark contrast to the oldest and longest-lasting initiatic school in the Mediterranean area: the Mystical Tradition of the Eleusinian Mothers.

The Neanche gli Dei Literary Festival and Author Meetings continues on Friday, July 25th at 7:30 PM with a space where words blend with the rich history of Sardinia, offering an adventurous journey through the maze of an epic, unusual, and indelible past. Stefano Piroddi, author, law graduate, founder and editorial director of “La Città degli Dei” — a cultural project combining a publishing house and film and theater production company — will present “SANDAHLIA The Sprout of the Sacred” (Editrice La Città degli Dei, 2025). The book highlights a concept of the sacred that celebrates every magical, poetic, and soulful aspect of the Human Being and Nature. It tells the story of the courage and spirituality of a people who dared to challenge Rome, filled with myths, battles, and ancestral connections to the land of Sardinia. This is the History every Sardinian should know, presented in a work that has the potential to forever change our understanding of our past and our perception of our destiny. A precious opportunity to reflect on the value of historical memory in shaping contemporary identity.

At 8:30 PM, the theme “The Soul at the Center of Every Educational, Creative, and Evolutionary Process for Children, Between Astrology, Esotericism, Theosophy, and Pedagogy” will be explored by Sarah Maria Tagliabue with her book “A Walk in the Sky” (Fontana Editore, 2024). With two decades of experience in the educational field as a teacher and support figure for all aspects of growth, the author presents a captivating and fascinating work dedicated to young readers. Through a fantastic astrological journey led by “Carolina the Little Witch”, children can discover what it means to have the courage of Aries, the patience of Taurus, or the creativity of Pisces, in a fun path of self-discovery through the unique qualities of the zodiac signs.

At 9:30 PM, the microphone will pass to Leonardo Guerra, a prominent figure in the fields of science, medicine, and biology, founder of the biotech research and development startup RARESPLICE s.r.l. for the discovery and development of gene therapies to treat rare genetic diseases. With reflections on the recent past, present, and potential future strategies, Leonardo Guerra offers authoritative insights with his essay “Covid-19 and the 2030 Agenda: The Criminal Deception Revealed” (Edizioni Il Punto d’Incontro, 2025). This is a thorough investigation into the pandemic emergency, aimed at overcoming the official narrative and observing the facts from new perspectives. At the center of the work are suggestions and strategies for better managing future false emergencies, seeking an alternative human system to the current one, which makes war and death its business model.

Finally, at 10:30 PM, the Festival will close the day with a subtle exploration of the “middle zone,” the one between life and death, with Piero Calvi Parisetti and his book “21 Days in the Afterlife” (OpenMind Publishing, 2024) a highly documented essay that gathers a vast amount of scientific and empirical evidence supporting the existence of life beyond life. A compelling framework that supports the theory of “survival” through a series of chapters, each dedicated to a different area of research. This significant work has the potential to radically transform the fear of death and offer great comfort to those suffering from grief. Piero Calvi Parisetti is an Italian-Scottish doctor, university professor, and consultant for the United Nations. With a background in cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy, the author is a member of the Society for Psychical Research and the International Association for Near-Death Studies. He is also a member of the scientific committee of the Forever Family Foundation in the United States and has developed an innovative approach to supporting those in mourning: education on the afterlife.

On July 26th, the Neanche gli Dei Festival continues with its program, focusing mainly on themes and topics related to global and contemporary geopolitical configurations, for a deeper understanding of reality beyond mainstream information.

The event will start at 7:30 PM with Simone Spiga, journalist and director of the news outlet Report Sardegna24, regional representative of the “Stop the War” Committee, and delegate of ENAC (National Social Promotion Agency), an organization committed to creating a unique hub for all free associations involved in cultural, sports, and social projects. His book “La spiga nell’occhio” (Nootempo Edizioni, 2025) will be presented, a rich collection of editorials and opinions that focus on the most important events of the past two years in the fields of regional, Italian, and foreign politics, cultural life and entertainment, energy and wind energy issues, all within the context of an increasingly complex geopolitical situation.

The alternatives to global neoliberalism for a truly human social identity will be the focus of a meeting with writer Enzo Pennetta, who at 8:30 PM will present “La terza teoria” (Visione Editore, 2025) a book that poses a great challenge to modern man, opposing the dogma of competition with the natural principle of “resonance,” for a hopeful and novel political and social model based on collaboration and cohesion. A journey through science, philosophy, and the history of thought, to reconsider the foundations of modern society, demonstrating how competitive models have, up to now, generated inequality, social discomfort, and distortions in the global power system. Enzo Pennetta is a professor, writer, and has been studying the relationship between science and society since 2011. In the same year, he founded and runs the website Critica Scientifica, where he studies phenomena related to science, information, and geopolitics.

At 9:30 PM, the floor will be handed over to Pino Cabras, essayist and geopolitical analyst, a prominent figure in Sardinian public finance, where he has been extensively involved in entrepreneurial development in its most innovative forms. He was also a member of Parliament from 2018 to 2022, vice president of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and president of the Italy-China Committee. Always committed to peace, he will present at the Festival his book “Against ‘Real Zionism’” (Visione Editore, 2025), a critical analysis of Zionism and its implications in contemporary international politics. Through documents, detailed in-depth studies, and a clear and passionate narrative, Pino Cabras embarks on a process of gradually deconstructing the lies used to justify the unjustifiable, exposing “Real Zionism” for what it truly is: a project of expansion and domination.

The evening will close at 10:30 PM with the highly anticipated return to the Festival of Giorgio Bianchi, one of Italy’s foremost experts on the Donbass issue, having visited the region since 2013 to document its severe crisis, earning numerous international awards for his reports. A photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, he has made reports from Europe, Syria, Russia, Burkina Faso, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal, and India. His work has always paid particular attention to political and anthropological issues. He will present his book “Contemporary War Theatres” (Mimesis Edizioni, 2021), a powerful visual narrative of the conflicts in Syria and Ukraine, placing a tragic focus on the devastating consequences these wars have had on the civilian population. Giorgio Bianchi’s work guides the reader on a complex journey, from geopolitics to the inner revolution of the individual, through an analysis that invites reflection on the reconstruction of personal life in a social context that is dismantling its own contemporary framework.

The Neanche gli Dei 2025 Festival will conclude on Sunday, July 27th, by addressing burning issues such as the global culture of worker exploitation, while also exploring more contemplative topics such as spirituality, love, and the value of human relationships.

The evening will begin at 7:00 PM with Raffaella Alois, who will present “From Farm Workers to Riders” (Gfe Edizioni, 2025), a touching, intense, and necessary book on “white deaths” (workplace fatalities). The author starts from a 2024 news story: the tragic death of Satnam Singh, an agricultural laborer involved in a workplace accident at a farm in the Pontine countryside, who was left to bleed to death by his “master.” An episode that shocked public opinion, but once the media frenzy subsided, Satnam was relegated to the invisible, like many others whose deaths in work-related accidents increase every year. In her book, the author uncovers the causes, structure, and endless developments of the exploitation phenomenon, from agricultural workers to digital exploitation, from riders to Amazon couriers. With over 20 years of experience in the social and volunteer sectors, for which she has received numerous honors, Raffaella Alois is a lawyer, writer, and expert in labor law, civil rights, and gender equality.

Philosophy and universal mysticism are at the heart of the meeting with Stefano Mini, who will take the stage at the Festival at 8:00 PM with his essay “The Principle of Relationship” (Fontana Editore, 2025), a cornerstone text of holistic practice and an essential reference point for those on the path to integral spirituality. A philosopher, holistic operator, and trainer, Stefano Mini has always been interested in topics related to the Mysticism of Encounter, understood as the “Science” of Listening to oneself and the Other, allowing humans to rediscover themselves as One with everything that exists. In his book, with clear and incisive language, he reveals how the meaning of our existence is not to be found “outside,” but in the way we inhabit every relationship: with others, with the world, with the Divine.

Following that, at 9:00 PM, Elena Basile, a prominent figure in the editorial and media world for her opinions on the Middle East and the Israel-Hamas conflict, will take the stage. An expert on international issues, she is now an indisputable reference for many media outlets and political commentators. During the meeting with the public, she will present her book “The World at Will” (Giannini Editore, 2025). The novel, written in a clear and light style, is told in the first person by a Canadian girl, recounting two contrasting worldviews embodied by her parents: the father’s, playful and slightly dishonest, dominated by an instinctive sensitivity, and the mother’s, filled with moralism and a stubborn fight for the good. Set in Toronto, the narrative highlights the contrasts between Anglo-Saxon and Italian cultures through a deliberately unfinished language typical of adolescence, both entertaining and poetic. It is the story of the spiritual education of a thirteen-year-old girl, who, in the short life she is granted, will experience friendship, love, and become aware of her identity as a woman and feminist.

Amidst ancient architectural suggestions, cosmic harmony, and references to divine symbology, the Festival will close at 10:00 PM with Armando Rossi and his book “Medieval Rose Windows” (Fontana Editore, 2024), a captivating journey through time to discover the highest and most transcendental meaning of the rose windows in medieval churches. A professor of Drawing and Art History, specialized in Restoration and Preservation of Architectural and Environmental Heritage at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Mediterranean Reggio Calabria, and a Civil and Environmental Engineer, Armando Rossi presents a text in which he unveils how rose windows, with their ability to transmit light as a divine symbol, are not merely decorative elements but emblems of perfection, beauty, spirituality, and meditation. In an age dominated by technology and speed, these structures thus represent an anchor of stability and lasting beauty, capable of stimulating profound reflections on the Universe and its harmony.

The evenings are coordinated by Simone Spiga, journalist and Director of ReportSardegna24.

As every year, the Festival enhances its offering to the public with numerous side activities, making participation in the events a multidimensional experience. During this edition, visitors will be able to visit <g id="gid_0">the solo exhibition by Davide Sionis, “Metropolis Gold”</g>, set up in the spaces of the Lazzaretto<g id="gid_1">. </g>The exhibition represents a journey through urban memories and cultural contaminations, where the works, suspended between photography and painting, explore the intimacy of places and people. The skilful use of light and color transforms each image into a complex narrative, capable of evoking deep emotions and telling universal stories.

Each evening, alongside the literary interventions, musical interludes by Nicola Agus will provide a musical backdrop. Nicola Agus, a graduate in Music Education from the Conservatory of Cagliari, composer of soundtracks, researcher, and builder of both ancient and modern instruments, specializes in giving new life and sound to instruments from around the world, infusing them with modern thought and ancient spirituality.

Additionally, a FACE ON photography corner, featuring portraits by Michelangelo Sardo and his award-winning FINE ART STUDIO, will be set up in the Central Courtyard of the Lazzaretto, where faces and smiles from the great family of Neanche Gli Dei can be captured (and gifted).

Throughout the event, a Bookshop corner curated by Libreria Mondadori i Mulini will be available.

There will also be refreshments for the body and mind, with tempting menus curated by Convivium. A gastronomic experience rooted in the biodiversity of Sardinia, celebrating local, sustainable, high-quality ingredients and the people who cultivate them, keeping ancient farming traditions alive.

Entrance to the Festival is free of charge.

It is possible to reserve a seat with a paid service for €6.00, and payment can be made via PayPal or credit/debit card.
