Rita Atzeri, 1974, artistic director of Il Crogiuolo, a historic Cagliari company founded by Mario Faticoni, actress, author and director. Her training path, as well as the current lines of research of the company, are mainly focused on political and civil theater.
\nAmong the works that have seen her most engaged as an author, we remember: \u201cGene mangia gene. Allegri attentati alla vita\u201d, directed by Mario Faticoni, the first successful experiment in writing, a show still in the repertoire with over a hundred performances active, which addresses the issues related to biotechnology, consumer society, cloning; \u201cLavorare Stanca\u201d directed by Francesco Origo, written after the tragic accident that caused the death of three workers in the Saras refinery of Sarroch in 2011; \u201cIn un cielo di stelle gialla bianche farfalle\u201d, which addresses the theme of the Holocaust through the eyes of children.
\nAs an actress she was directed by Mario Faticoni, Francesco Origo, Susanna Mameli, Marco Gagliardo, Andrea Dosio, Serena Sinigaglia, Marco Parodi, Maria Assunta Calvisi, Elio Arthemalle, Fausto Siddi, Simonetta Pusceddu, Simone Schinocca, Virginia Martini, Roberta Sandias, Michele Monetta, Giancarlo Biffi.
\nAmong the characters she loved to play the most, Luky from \u201cWaiting for Godot\u201d directed by Dosio; Adele from \u201cThe House of Bernarda Alba\u201d directed by M. A. Calvisi; Contastelle from \u201cWar and Surroundings\u201d and Speranza from \u201cS\u2019 accabadora\u201d by Susanna Mameli; Francesca Spada, journalist of the Unit\u00e0 of the 50s, female protagonist of \u201cDio, Stalin e me\u201d adaptation of the novel by Ermanno Rea directed by V. Martini and, again, the role of the lesbian deported by Nazi-fascism in \u201cDer Puff\u201d by Francesca Falchi. She had the fortune of acting with Antonio Piovanelli, Maria Paiato, Caterina Vertova, Iaia Forte, Isabella Carloni.
\nAs a director she was able to work with magnificent performers such as Gisella Vacca, Isella Orchis, Maria Grazia Bodio, Manuela Ragusa, Caterina Murino, Alessandra Leo, and with the actors Fausto Siddi and Elio Arthemalle.
\nShe is the creator of Artefatta \u2013 museum animation through theater; of the Irgoli Children\u2019s Theater Festival \u201cL\u2019isola che non c\u2019\u00e8\u201d; of the \u201cNurArcheofestival\u201d, a traveling festival designed to enhance archaeological areas, now in its twelfth edition, and of numerous reviews of authorial theater, social theater and chamber theater, and children’s theater for the Il Crogiuolo company.
\nShe teaches theater workshops for comprehensive and high schools and theater propedeutics workshops for children and adolescents. She holds courses in diction and expressive reading.<\/p>\n
